Moscow International Photo Festival «Golden Dolphin» is a feast for all those who are engaged in an underwater shooting or simply like to contemplate beauties of the underwater world.

Photographers from all Russia and foreign countries gather here in order to communicate to interesting people, to look at an exhibition critically, to visit master classes on underwater photo, to discuss with consultants of various firms novelties of video and photo industry, to admire author's galleries and, certainly, to visit the ceremony of rewarding of winners in order to know the name of the best photographer of this year.

Here, during these days, when the Festival is carried out, an atmosphere is simply interesting to be in. All around you can hear questions: "At what depth the picture was made?", "And which objective was used?" or "Do not miss testing of the new camera in 6 meter pool!", "There is a breath-taking film about white sharks at the cinema!"

Underwater photo has received recognition from the public and has become so popular lately. So-called "technical" art associates with something bright, colorful, surprising with unusual forms and sometimes with quite strange figures.

Surprising and unknown world where everything is different. In order to feel sensation of unreality you just need to dive, having fetched along your camera. It is quite unimportant if you dive with an aqualung or if you dive with a delay of breathe with mask and tube. However, very few people reflect, that the underwater world looks in another way, than we are used to see it in pictures. There is a set of nuances that make a picture valuable.

At all times underwater theme attracted people. Nowadays, when modern technologies have developed – we just have to say thank you to Jacque Yves Cousteau who has invented an aqualung and has presented an abyss to people.

  You are welcome!
