The Ceremony opening Moscow Festival of diving and active kinds of recreation in the water, devoted to coming Olympic Games attracted such guests as Victor Garcia III – Ambassador of Philippines republic in Russia, Vladimir Zhouravlev – Adviser of Mar of Moscow in Young Men Affairs, Dmitry Shoulcev – the representative of Tourism Department by Russian Government, Valentin Stashevskiy – The Head of Confederation in Underwater Activities of Russia, Dmitry Orlov – President of company RuDive, Irina Yaroslavskaya – Marketing manager of Company “Germanika” – Automobile Partner of the Festival - the official representative of Volkswagen Concern in Russia and Gennadiy Grutsya - President of “Golden Dolphin”. Nationally popular stars and famous technique divers – Yana Churikova and Valdis Pelsh – were shining at the Main stage of the Festival and were perfectly bright while leading Official Ceremonies.
Round-table discussion on a topic “The safety of the tourism” was held within the Festival. Such actual problems were discussed during it – the problems of cooperation between government institutions, business communities and social organizations in providing the safety of Russian tourists when traveling abroad and in Russia. Evgeniy Pisarevskiy, deputy director of Federal Tourism Agency, took part in this discussion, representatives of The Public Chamber if Russian Federation, Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defence, Emergency Situations and the Relief of Natural Disasters, and other organizations and administrations.
Round-table conference devoted to questions of free diving by Natalya Molchanova, 22-fold champion of the world, provoked great interest. She taught every volunteer to hold one’s breathing for 8 minutes (her own record of the World).
This year Salon “Trophy Fishing” was held together with TV channel “7 TV” and company “The planet of a fisherman”. Within it the international press-conferences passed, with the participation of Finnish, Norwegian, Cuban and Russian professionals. It was the first time when TV-project “Cup of 7TV in trophy fishing” and tourist programs about fishing, diving and family vacation were presented inside of the Festival. 10-years anniversary of program “Dialogues about fishing” was celebrated jollily.
Thanks to the initiative of company RuDive and special proposal from company “Germanika” all the visitors had an opportunity to make a test drive of the car loaded with dive equipment - Volkswagen Touareg – the most popular car for divers among the Russian, and make trial dive in the swimming pool of holding company «RuDive» under the control of qualified instructors. And during happy hours, each wishful could become a diver out of charge and make his first intro dive.
